2013 London Lifestyle Homeshow - Our Booth!

Yet again, we had a splendid time at the Lifestyle Home Show.
We thoroughly enjoy being able to showcase our product, and meet many amazing people throughout the weekend.

If you happened to miss the show - or you'd like a second look at the booth, here are some photographs! This year we had the honour of speaking on stage about "Kitchen Trends of 2013". Two of our Team Members shared with the audience how to implement these trends into your home, and specifically, your kitchen. It was great to be able to share our passion for kitchen design, and answer questions for homeowners.

We also had the pleasure of being able to donate a Custom-Built GCW Wall Unit & TV, to raffle off in support of My Sister's Place, a local London shelter for women facing homelessness. Thank you to all of those who donated and participated in our draw. We sincerely appreciate your efforts!

Modern Zebrawood Custom Kitchen

This GCW Custom Kitchen is a gorgeous blend of zebrawood, in a natural clearcoat, and a medium-brown stain, with some crisp white painted cabinetry accents. The framed look provides a very custom, and sleek look which lends itself to a very European feel.
3" thick, mitred Cambria quartz countertops add to the luxurious look, and provide ample working space. This kitchen is fully-loaded with Sensotronic drawers which open and close themselves, a gorgeous custom concave pantry with glass, floating shelves, quartz backsplashes, and incredible European hinge systems.
A very functional and beautiful kitchen that would add grandeur to any home.
The cabinets are suited for a 10'-0" high ceiling, and have been custom made in our St Thomas Manufacturing facility. This kitchen has been a display in our London showroom for two years, and we are offering it at 50% OFF retail price!



 
Modern Ash & White Custom Kitchen

This beautiful kitchen in our St Thomas location, combines the texture of ash stained in a rich dark brown, with the crisp clean look of white painted cabinetry.
A modern and sleek look that could transform the look of your home.
Complete with Quartz countertops, sensotronic drawers which open and close themselves, and european hinge systems. The custom hood serves as a stunning focal point. Each floating shelf has built-in lighting to create ambiance and accentuate the look of the kitchen. This kitchen was built for a 10'-0" tall ceiling.
We have used this kitchen as a display for four years, and we are selling it at 50% OFF retail price!




Chocolate Brown Leather & Chome Barstools

We also have some gorgeous brand new barstools up for sale, which we used in the Modern Zebrawood Display.
As we are changing out the display, we are replacing the stools.
We have 12 stools available.. all the exact same stool.

Two (or more) Toned Kitchens

Two-toned kitchens, believe it or not, have been around for quite some time.

Of course, as with everything that "comes back", the two-toned kitchens of today are a modernized version.

For a while, it was very popular to have two upper cabinets a darker colour than the rest of the kitchen. This eventually evolved into a combination of a white (or off-white) painted perimeter, and a darker wood island. This has proven to be a very beloved look, as it's popularity has sky-rocketed.

It's timeless quality is evident, since it incorporates the classic white kitchen appeal, as well as the richness of wood that never really will go out of style. The stain colour is another story - right now, dark is very "in" but we cannot guess the longevity of it's popularity.

As of late, another two-toned combination has made it's way to the spotlight; gray painted base cabinets, with white upper cabinets. A gorgeous look, that definitely provides a beachy, shabby chic, but yet classic sort of look.

Being the latest trend, one might worry that this is just a fad. With most interior design styles/trends, fads come and go. There are those, though, that seem to remain but evolve throughout the years. For instance, you absolutely cannot go wrong with a timeless white kitchen. Classic.

Before & After Kitchen Reno!

There's nothing better than a "Before and After" Transformation.
Watching all of the Design Shows on HGTV or W Network, the best part is always the reveal at the end of the show!
What's even better, is hearing the true testimonies of our client's home renovations.
Seeing the looks on their faces and hearing them describe what a transformation it has been, is pure joy.
It's like a real life design show for us each and every day!
